HJ431 Agglomerated Flux
TOKO HJ431 is an agglomerated submerged arc welding flux developed specifically for welding 304, 316, and 347 austenitic stainless steels. It provides high chromium and nickel recovery, minimizes carbon pickup, and effectively prevents intergranular corrosion. When used with AWS A5.9 309L or 316L wires, it delivers excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, making it ideal for chemical, food, and pharmaceutical grade equipment.
- Low hydrogen content (≤4ml/100g)
- High Cr recovery & low carbon transfer
- Ferrite number FN 4–8 for crack resistance
- Excellent slag detachability
- Prevents intergranular corrosion
- Smooth bead appearance
