The business Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization "SCO" was held in Beijing. Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the forum attracted nearly 400 participants from government institutions and the business community both at home and abroad. (Xinhua)

Participants highlighted that the SCO is the world's largest regional organization by geographic scope and population.They emphasized that economic and trade cooperation is a vital engine driving the SCO's growth. Member states are deepening collaboration across key areas – including trade and investment, transportation and logistics, the digital economy, and green energy – providing strong momentum and vast potential for regional economic growth.

The forum also released a Supply Chain Development Research Report. It points out that enhancing "supply chain connectivity" is central to future SCO collaboration. This calls for upholding the "Shanghai Spirit" and building a multidimensional cooperative system that integrates production inputs, market players, governance models, and spatial planning.

This year's forum was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and featured an opening ceremony, thematic discussions, and enterprise matchmaking sessions.
