William Wu, CEO attends the High Level Dialogue of Guyana-China Joint Business Development Council

BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) — A High Level Dialogue of Guyana-China Joint Business Development Council was successfully held in Beijing on Monday. Guyana President Dr. Irfaan Ali attended the dialogue meeting and delivered a keynote speech.

President Ren Hongbin of CCPIT attended the dialogue meeting and delivered a speech. Guyana Foreign Minister Hugh Hilton Todd, Ambassador to China Anyin Choo, and Chinese Ambassador to Guyana Guo Haiyan attended the dialogue meeting.

This high level dialogue meeting was jointly organized by CCPIT and the embassy of the cooperative republic of Guyana in China. The economic and trade cooperation between the two countries keep in growing. In the first half of the year, the bilateral trade volume between China and Guyana up to USD 630 mln.

More than 130 government officials, business representatives, and media representatives from both countries attended the event.
