Beijing, September 2, 2025 – Malaysia-China High-Level Business Dialogue was held in Beijing, bringing together business representatives from China and senior officials from Malaysia, including Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The Malaysian leader underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral trade ties.
Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim joined the high-level business dialogue aimed at fostering closer economic cooperation between the two countries.
Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the need to bolster Malaysia-China relations by expanding trade and investment cooperation, unlocking new opportunities in sectors such as semiconductors, rare earths, blue economy, education, and research. He highlighted Malaysia’s stable political environment and clear economic policies, including the National Semiconductor Strategy, the National AI Roadmap, and the energy transition agenda, notably the ASEAN Power Grid.
